Flew in from Miami Beach BOAC…..
David, Cynthia, Mike, Rose, Billy, Debra and I flew into Miami for our connecting flight into St. Thomas. Jaguar landed on the island about 1:30 PM and found Chris enjoying the local beer at the airport bar. After our adventure at the car rental agency we made it to our rental house around 3 O’Clock-ish. Our home…. in a word…. spectacular. We have rented a brand new 4,200 square foot home on the beach. As Chris said, “This is living the rock star life!”
The money shot
After lots of high fives we posed for our first 2nd reunion band photo with our new banner. It is officially on. Dave handed out Detyen shirts for everyone. Very cool! I then passed out the new Jaguar t-shirts, posters, stickers, guitar picks, drum sticks, magnets and coasters. Everything was very well received.
We headed over to Bolongo Bay for a quick ocean side dinner. It was great hearing the Tim West band once again. It’s like we never left. We then headed to the grocery store to stock up for the week. This where we heard Dave say “I’m going for it!” We decided this will be on his tombstone.
Most of us went to bed early after a very long day. Billy and Chris relaxed in the hot tub before calling it a day.
