It's been a long time coming...

After spending a wonderful week in the USVI - January 2020, we all agreed that we would do it every year for as long as we are welcome. You can look that up on Wikipedia under “No Brainer”. Then the world stopped. Jaguar experienced horrible separation anxiety. We then spent the next year and a half writing and recording music. Anxiously waiting for the chance to return to the Caribbean.

Cruz Bay - St. John, USVI

We could not wait any longer and thought we should return over the summer, something we had never done before. We reached out to Reed at the Beach Bar and asked him if he remembered us. HE DID! We told him we wanted to come for a week and only wanted to perform at the Beach Bar and stay on St. John. He said done! Another first in the story of Jaguar.

We made all the arrangements but soon found out that David would not be coming with us this year. He will only be attending in spirit (and by Face-Time calls). We know it won’t be the same without him but we will do the best we can. Every trip is exactly the same but totally different. We understand that magic happens when you embrace the unknown and the welcome the unexpected. We will post daily updates once we get boots (or sandals) on the ground.

Trunk Bay Beach - St. John, USVI

We do not get to live this dream again without the generosity of many people. Jaguar would like to give a big fat shout out to the following people:

  • Reed Compton - The World Famous Beach Bar St. John

Reed agreed to allow Jaguar to play his venue for 5 consecutive nights. Who does that? Reed (Straight out of Cruz Bay) Compton does! This summer play-cation all started with an email to Reed. None of this happens without him allowing us to play at the Beach Bar. We could never thank him enough for helping make everything possible.

  • Priscilla Lynn - Street Level VI
Priscilla is the biggest advocate for music the US Virgin Islands has ever seen. We got to spend a little time with her during our last trip and since she has become our concierge, advocate, therapist and our tour manager. Most importantly she has become our friend. She is truly an inspiration. We are so lucky to have her in our lives.

  • Ryan - Sail With Liberty
Ryan and Jaguar have a history. Every trip to St. Thomas has included 2 things… Music and sailing with Ryan. We can not think of a better way to celebrate everything that life has to offer.

  • Tommy Bronx
Tommy is an amazing drummer who plays in various groups on the island. Most notably the Tim West Band. He, like many local musicians have been extremely gracious to Jaguar and we can’t thank him enough.
