The band is back together!
Chris was the first to arrive and after a few trips to the free Cruzan rum sample table, he set up the official welcome party at the airport bar. Billy, Mike and Mike’s beautiful wife Rose arrived next. The excitement started to get real. David, his wonderful wife Cynthia my amazing wife Debra and I arrived around 3:00 PM. Jaguar was together in the Virgin Islands for the first time in 30 years. Lots of hugs and high fives ensued. I got the rental van and was quickly reminded of the local pace of service. This is affectionately know as “island time”. You just have to experience it to believe it.
We loaded everyone up in the van and a cab and headed out to the vacation rental…. on the wrong side of the road! We made it to the Jaguar headquarters around 4:30 PM and were blown away with our accommodations for the week. Our house, the Bolongo Breeze was perfect!

Chris and Billy - The Step Down
After a lot of “Can you believe this?” and “This is incredible” we headed out to the closest beach restaurant . Iggies Oasis Grill at the Bolongo Beach Resort was 4 minutes away. We enjoyed great food, drinks and live music. Jaguar met Tim West (the entertainment for the evening) and he invited us to play at Tickles Dockside Pub tomorrow night. That’s right after arriving on the island a few hours ago…. Jaguar already has been asked to perform. It was our first day of our reunion week and it was perfect.
