Day 4

Just another day in paradise….

Today was shopping day for the wives. I took my wife Debra, Rose and Cynthia to the Havensite and Charlotte Amalie shopping districts. These women are professionals! Jewelry and perfume were the catch of the day.

When we returned we had our second band practice and we are starting to not sound like a band that hasn’t played for 30 years. We are hoping to get an opportunity to perform before we leave but are very happy being in the same room making music after forever.

We had dinner at the house prepared by the wives. It was a feast of chicken, asparagus, sausuage and carrots. Delicious with a capital D!

We then headed down to the Bolongo Bay resort to watch Chris’ friend band (Lourdes and the Switch) perform. They were very good. Lots of laughs, drinks and dancing! The band graciously offered to have us sit in tomorrow night at the Hook Line and Sinker. Is that crazy?

On the way out the door we ran into Lorie Leonard, the property manager of Bolongo Breeze, the house where we are staying. The house has been way above our expectations. It has provided us with a daily amazing view and space to do everything. I mean everything! This whole experience has been wonderful.
